Attraction Marketing Techniques

Attraction marketing techniques are vital to the network marketing industry today. If you’ve been in network marketing a while, you probably look back in disgust at the overt sales training you were taught back then.

I still have nightmares when I think about trying to overcome people’s objections and memorizing sales scripts. I cringe when I remember those dark nights, calling strangers on the phone who had reason to talk to me. Telling someone that I was a network marketer was something I couldn’t do without some measure of guilt.

Treating people like numbers, as I was taught to do, is a surefire way to network marketing failure. The good news is that you don’t have to do it that way. Using attraction marketing techniques, the prospects actually call you. Now doesn’t that sound easier than picking up the dreaded 700 pound phone night after night?

There are three major benefits to using attraction marketing techniques:

Your leads are pre-qualified
You’re not looking for someone who has no time, money, or motivation to build a business. Before a prospect approaches you, he or she will know exactly what’s expected of them, if you’re doing it right. This means they’ve already read some of your articles, maybe seen some of your videos, and in a very real sense, know you.

You don’t feel like a salesman

If you’re using attraction marketing techniques correctly, sales will be the last thing on your mind. What you’re looking to do is to provide real value to others. Ironically, when you provide value, you develop a following of people who not only view you as an expert, but also as a trusted friend. Since people prefer to do business with their friends, well, you do the math.

How do you overcome an objection when somebody tells you they don’t have 2 hours a week to work a business? Or if your prospect had to borrow money from his parents just to pay the rent this month? Yet, that’s exactly what I was doing in the Dark Ages. I did it because my upline told me to.

You make money even when they don’t join your business

Most people you meet are not going to join your business. Yes, I know that your company probably told you that a person would be crazy not to join you, but let me tell you a little secret: There are a lot of crazy people out there. Accept it and move on.

This does not mean you can’t make money from those people, however. Using attraction marketing techniques, you’ll have a whole arsenal of information products that you use and recommend that will help others build their business. You, of course, get a commission for the sales of these products.

If you truly focus on helping others, you cannot help but to succeed beyond your wildest dreams.
